The experience of being able to serve you as your council member has been one of the most phenomenal experiences of my life. The most incredible thing by far is meeting so many wonderful people who give so much to our community. Our City is lucky to have so many people who, for decades, have been giving large amounts of their time to help our community grow, prosper and thrive. You know who you are! Meeting you never ceases to amaze and humble me. And a quick chat with you always recharges me when I feel frustrated with the politicking on the council.

In serving as your council member, I have learned so much about so many things.

There is hardly another job where I could have used almost all my skill sets. My background as an attorney and a software engineer (numbers person) has enabled me to quickly grasp the complexities of our city’s finances. My Women’s Studies training gives me a more thorough understanding of the role that organizations like the Latina Center and the Family Justice Center play in our community. To be able to use all my skills set to serve the public is truly a dream. I want to keep living this dream and keep working for you!
